uncle put into their medical training, and later, I was inspired by the profound impact they had on their patients’ lives,” he recalls.

He chose to specialize in hematology and oncology after first gaining extensive exposure to the cancer field through rotations at various University of Maryland- affiliated hospitals. “My passion for the science behind stem cell research and the profound relationships formed with my patients fuels my commitment to care,” he explains.

His patient care philosophy centers around helping others in their time of need. “As a hematologist, I often meet patients during some of the most challenging times in their lives. I find purpose in offering support and guidance to both patients and their families. One’s life has value so long as one attributes value to the life of others. I feel blessed to be able to help and provide support to patients and their families throughout my career,” he says.

Philosophy of Care

“As a hematologist, I often meet patients during some of the most challenging times in their lives. I find purpose in offering support, guidance, and clarity — not only to patients, but to their families. I believe medicine is both a science and a calling, and true healing comes from compassion as much as from treatment.”
